As an experienced capital projects programme manager and network operations manager his safety experience comes with a practical understanding of the risks and hazards associated with the electrification systems. Ian is a career railwayman with extensive experience across electrification and operations. He is an industry recognised expert on electrical control and isolation planning and has most recently been designing and delivering related training courses. As an experienced Electrical Control Manager he has contributed to the shaping of railway electrification safety rules and isolation planning process design. Jamie has over 14 years experience in rail
construction – starting on the tools and progressing to the role of senior
construction manager. He
is a member of
the Institute of Occupational Safety (IOSH) and a qualified City and
Guilds Trainer. He has practical experience of
managing and delivering rail construction projects and an in depth
understanding of the safety culture necessary to safely deliver works
the rail environment. He has held COSS OLP, machine controller, cable
train management and several other key railway competences. Jamie has practical experience
of mentoring the workforce to enable an improved working environment embedded
in safety culture.
